
Ryan D. Hottle is the Founder and Director of Global Climate Solutions. Having dedicated his life to discovering and implementing solutions to climate change, food insecurity, and peak oil five years ago, Ryan decided to found Global Climate Solutions in 2008 to advocate for serious sustainable solutions.
Ryan completed his undergraduate work at Naropa University (Boulder, CO) in 2006 with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies where he wrote a 250 page thesis paper on community sustainability and survival in light of peak oil and climate change. He has worked for wind, solar, and energy conservation companies in the past. He is presently enrolled in Columbia University’s Climate and Society program in New York.
Ryan has trained and earned certification as an Emergency Medical Technician, Organic Farm Inspector, Energy Auditor, and Permaculture Designer. Ryan has also co-managed a 15-member CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program with his love-of-his life, Theresa.
Ryan is intensely interested in carbon negative energy systems revolving around the production of biochar with pyrolysis technologies.

Troy A. Hottle is a Research Fellow with Global Climate Solutions. After having completed a B.A. from Hiram University in Sociology where he wrote his thesis paper on the emergence of environmentalism within mainstream society, Troy has taken a position with Steel City Biofuels (www.steelcitybiofuels.org), a project of Penn State University.
A skilled photographer, Troy has traveled to many countries across the world documenting environmental and social changes taking place as a result of climate change. His photographs have been featured in several online publications and are displayed in a gallery at Mootz Run Tea Shop in Alexandria, Ohio.
Troy’s research focus is on developing and promoting sustainable biofuel and biomass systems for a post-peak oil world. While at Hiram he spent two years on research, development and testing of various biofuel products at the Hiram Biodiesel Laboratory, of which he was a founding contributor.

Glynn Bebee is a partner with of Global Climate Solutions. Glynn has an extensive background in residential and commercial architecture, construction, green buildings, affordable housing, energy systems, building mechanical systems and design and use of advanced materials and composite assemblies. Glynn works primarily on projects relating to Water, Food, Shelter, Energy, Transportation and Community.
